The evolution of Microsoft Project in the original client solution to today's client server solution has happened in leaps and bounds. Since 2002, the Project Server has been integrated into the SharePoint technology. Thus, it is possible to represent the resource and risk management with the server technology. With the 2010 version, Microsoft integrated the initially independent Portfolio Server 2007 into the Project Server.
